It’s the day you can vote for change. Change of the current administration. Change for something better, in the place you call home: Highland Falls, NY.

The current Highland Falls administration is currently failing the village, in many, many ways. Here are just a few:

• The response – on the day of, and following – the tragic storm and flood of July 9, 2023, that destroyed millions of dollars of infrastructure, while some were busy partying.
• The follow-up FEMA investigation of misuse of funds by the Village, while some were busy scheming.
• Voter election fraud that resulted in several guilty verdicts.
• A current Board member that was removed from Orange County Industrial Development Agency by NYS officials – due to gross mismanagement by administrative staff.
• Monthly embarrassing public arguments, accusations amongst current Board, with residents and each other.
• Embarrassing social media and public relationship mistakes by the current Mayor, who will remain nameless.
• The gentle, breezy “slap on the wrist for a Board member’s nephew” (who was employed by the Village) stealing over $10k in time — which is your taxpayer money!
• Most recently, the bait and switch of candidates running for Mayor.

The above list is only from the past few years. We have more. We can go further back – but let’s be nice, and not dredge up any other past sins.

Enough is enough. And this time, the people are ready to retire the old ways.
